8-wheel grab lorries
Our standard grab lorries are 8-wheelers carrying up to 16 tonnes per load — roughly twice the capacity of an 8-yard skip — with a hydraulic arm reaching up to 7 metres over walls, fences and hedges.
Why size matters for your job
A bigger single load means fewer visits for large clearances, which usually works out cheaper per tonne than several smaller collections. For smaller domestic jobs, a part-load is fine too — you're only charged for what we take.
Reach vs access
The 7-metre arm is what lets us collect from back gardens, behind fences and gated driveways without a lorry ever entering the property — useful on sites a skip lorry simply can't reach.
